GPUDATE /FORCE Problem
Since I know several heads are better than one....
If you knew a fault was caused by incorrect user policy on a machine.
You connect to users machine and run cmd as local admin and run gpudate /force to refresh policies.
(you cannot log in locally as user is dialling in with a RAS connection)
But you get the error:
Failed to refresh user policy. Error - The system cannot find the file specified. Exiting
Computer policy refresh completed.
Log on locally as local admin and refresh again??
(Which I cannot do today)
Other info:
Client is XP laptop
Domain is 2K3
Local profiles on client have been re-created.
Cheers in advance guys.
