Windows 2000 Question

I read somewhere recently that all the Win2K exams are being retired very soon. While the OS is getting long in the tooth, doesn't Microsoft usually give a 1 year lead time before totally retiring exams? Just wondering if someone had their facts a little fuzzy.

Just curious..... icon_wink.gif
I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

    Yes Microsoft always give at least a years notice before canceling any exams and at the moment they have no plans to cancel any of the 2000 exams, which i suspect they wont cancel any of the 2000 ones untill the longhorns exams come out probably in 2008.

    Thanks that is what I thought and has been the case in the past but was just curious if they had changed policy. From what I have seen there are still quite a few companies using Win2K still. Maybe waiting for Longhorn before changing.

    Thanks icon_wink.gif
