Job offer

hi guys i just got a job offer from this company in New Jersey as a Database Administrator...

Starting at 50K/yr

wut do you all think?

    It shouldn't be very expensive to live in NJ right? I would go for it!

    These days who you work for is a flexable thing. Gone are the days when you had a job for life. Take this if it is a good deal but don't think you can't move on to something better in a year or so if something comes along.

    Take the job... Then I can have someone I can ask some DBA questions when i get stumped. :)

    What are the benefits involved? Medical Insurance, On-call rotation, overtime, moving expenses, room for advancement? I suppose $50K sounds good for a DBA job, but don't forget about all these other deciding factors.

    Does the job require a clearance and do you have one? Having a clearance is like having most of the certs put together especially when you get a TS or above. I got a $20k increase in pay when I jumped to a job that gave me a TS. Was great! I suggest everyone find a job like that... lol
