Basic to Dynamic...and back

Sorry if I am addressing this question in the wrong form...but when you convert a Basic drive using NTFS to Dynamic is there any way to convert it back without loosing any data?

yes, create a full backup, and restore it after deleting the volumes and reverting the disk.

In your experience is it worth to convert your drive to dynamic or just leave it as basic?

you would only want the drive to be non dynamic if it was goign to be used in another machine that doesnt suppurt dynamic disks
