A little worried

I'm a little bit worried, as this is my first microsoft exam I don't know what to expect.
I was doing some revision and the way I answered the questions (allthough I feel they were right) were nothing like how microsoft answered them... icon_confused.gif

I've heard you get the test results right there infront of you after you do the test.. How do they grade you on what you write for your answers? or are all the questions multichoice?

Starting to think its gunna take me forever to get through this book! icon_cry.gif ! Other people seem to have no troubles remeber the stuff and just fly through it.. even though I love learning about it.. I still have the worst memory in the world!

This test is mainly multiple choice questions with a couple point and click answers.

For the point and click answers, they will give you a network diagram or some screen shot within XP Pro, give you some symptoms, and you click on the part of the diagram that is the culprit or the part of the screen shot.

Don't let the book scare you!! Practice on an XP Pro machine as you read to help you fully understand the topics.

Ah sweet that takes the pressure off! thanks -EOS-!

    Another question,
When doing the exam.. do you have access to an XP machine? for looking up things such as switches etc? or is it all locked down to the 'testing' session?

It is locked down. Of course there are still simulation environments, but it is restrictive to what you are allowed to click on.

Don't let the test intimidate you. As long as you're comfortable with the material in the book, and you feel like you've gone over all the topics listed on the MCP site and at the beginning of your book, you'll do just fine. All you have to remember is that it's just a test, and you can pass it.
