Sorry if this has been asked,
Is there a colour standard for cable jacket for cross-over or roll-over cables, like they have it for pairs inside?. I need to make couple of cross-over cables, which colour should i choose, Red or can i use any available colour and tag it ?.
Thanks.

Many companies have their own standards.
Although, it is best practice to use colored standards within
an organization. For example;
Blue - Data
Red - Crossover
White - Voice
Black - Rollover
etc... you get the drift...There is no place like 127.0.0.1 -

I think also labeleling cables is also very good practice, so when it comes to a time when some re-patching needs to be done or something everything is so much easier.DevOps Engineer and Security Champion. https://blog.pash.by - I am trying to find my writing style, so please bear with me.
