Win 2000 pro admin password workaround....

Hi people! Heres my dilema. I got 3 used computers so I could setup my own network at home with XP, NT and 2000 so I can learn each OS and network them together and so forth. The computer with 2000 on it is password protected. Is there any way to change it or get around it without reformatting? If I do that then I lose the only 2000 version or windows I have. Any help would be awesome. I am trying to do this economically since I am going to school full time and am on a budget. Thanks.

    Few ways of doing this

Austrumi is a small linux distribution that boots off a live cd it allows you to few windows partions and edit passwords. You have to use a really old version though

Ultimate boot Cd I think also has a similar feature

Also take a look at this site very helpful

If you have the media to install Windows, it would be easier to just reinstall, and it would be a good learning exercise too!

Have you tried to log in with a blank password? You'd be surprised how many people do that.

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

Give that a try...I used it a couple times and it worked pretty good. It's a good program to have.
