VLSM Help

Has anyone got any good tips for subnetting and VLSM because i can never remember how to subnet and to use VLSM.

Anyone got any ideas on how to help, because my instructor at uni doesnt want to know! Ive tried reading a guide on 3com and cisco's site but i cant quite grasp it yet.

Read sybex its explained clearly there, if there is something you cant understand ask here,but dont ask an open question requesting someone else to do the hard work.
Also use the search engine and you will see many explanations here.
