Well guys I thought I might as well congratulate myself as I passed my intro exam a few days ago.
I think this score would of been higher as I panicked on the second simulation question by attempting to get the serial and ethernet connections up. Only to find hidden in the question I wasn't able to do this!
Apart from that I spent some time before the exam writing down subnet mask information for all the classes only to find nearly all of subnetting questions I could do in my head anyway!
Apart from that most of the questions were pretty simple.
So now some onto a few hard months studying for my icnd! I can't wait!
Oh I used the Cisco press intro book and CCNA book by Richard Deal, the later I found had a fantastic ip subnetting chapter that really helped my to understand subnetting and to work out the calculations. Where as the Cisco press book I just couldn't work out ip subnetting at all.
It's strange as now I see an ip subnetting question and don't have a problem working something out, where as before I had a memory block and never really understood it!

how many months of studying are you going to do for icnd?
I passed my intro on the 27th with a 900, and i scheduled my icnd for the 24th of this month. I did it so soon because i feel that i know this material, i hope i didn't makie a misake by scheduling it too soon.
What was your study plan? How long did you study and how much a day?i herd u leik mudkips lol -
Stanley_Cooper Member Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□Well I spent four weeks studying for the intro so ive given myself two months to read through the icnd book but would like to pass it at the end of March.
However it's given me some confidence in wanting to complete this certification now.

Good once you get past that memory block on subnetting and then wonder why you had problems with it in the first place. Well done.Kam. -
