QCT for CME

Didn't know where exactly to post this question, thought this was the most suitable forum.

Anyone have any experience with the Quick Configuration Tool for Call Manager Express? I've followed all the instructions that I could find and the QTC doesn't seem to see the router. What I've done so far.

1. Loaded QCT
2. Checked registry entries
3. Cleared NVram on router
4. Connected to console of router
5. Reloaded router
6. Opened QCT (blank page comes up)

I had a quick 1 hour demonstration from our Cisco reps, and what they showed me seemed pretty straight forward. I'll probably end up giving them a call, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious.

I've included a show version below

The only thing I can think of this point is to verify the CME version I'm running will support the QCT. At this stage I don't know if the system image includes CME, and I'm looking to find out what version of CME is running on the router, using the CLI. Cisco QCT currently supports Cisco CallManager Express 3.2 and higher using IOS Software 12.3(11)T6 and higher, and Cisco Unity Express version 2.1.1 and higher.

The documentation I've read says to only hook up the console cable to the router, however the application to open has a .html suffix. To me, that indicates that communication would be through the ethernet port. Is it possible to have this kind of application run through the console port of the router?

Please be gentle with your answers because I'm just learning this stuff. Just started hands on in a lab last Friday. No one in my company has used the QCT yet. TIA for any help.

FINALLY SOLVED MY PROBLEM. HAD A VIRGIN IDENTICAL LAPTOP.
1. LOADED QCT ON THE NEW LAPTOP
2. RAN QCT AND IT WORKED FINE
3. LOADED IMAGE FROM NEW LAPTOP TO MINE
4. RAN QCT FROM MINE AND IT WORKED FINE
5. SUSPECT PROBLEM HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH ACTIVEX. IT WAS EASIEST JUST TO LOAD A FRESH IMAGE TO MY LAPTOP. DON'T HAVE TIME TO LOOK AND FIND THE EXACT CONTROL THAT WAS BLOCKING THE PROPER DISPLAY OF THE APPOLICATION.

p.s. We tried using the QCT last week and abandoned using it. We did use it to generate a basic template to work with, using CLI. It doesn't seem to autodetect a pri card in a variety of routers 2801,2821, and 3725 so far.
