MCDST vs MCP

Hello people

I'm new to this forum

I just passed my CCNA last week and now looking to move my career into microsoft
ladder so i was thinking to start with MCDST or MCP

Any idea what's the difference?

I was convinced by one of my mates to start with MCDST and then go for MCSA---> MCSE but dunno if that's the best career path.

Please let me know your opinion about my career

To get MCDST you will automatically get and MCP.
