Hey guys
Im about half way through the MS Press book on the 290 and Im learning about Software Update Services and was about to install. I just went onto the MS site to get some white papers to read a bit later in my studies, and they are saying that WSUS is the successor to SUS. The book does not mention WSUS. Which should I study? are they the same? or just stick to the book?
Thanks for your insite.

sthomas Member Posts: 1,240 ■■■□□□□□□□I would just learn WSUS and not mess with SUS. If I recall correctly they are very similiar except for the fact that WSUS is a little easier to install and configure in my opinion. For the exams you will need to know WSUS. Even when the exams covered SUS I only messed with WSUS and I knew the answers to the SUS questions and Sims.Working on: MCSA 2012 R2

Sorry I didnt search this time. you know how it goes, your about to do something and you get a little worked up I guess I am going to stick to the book for now and then setup a server with WSUS later and make that work for real in my little home lab.
