passed today...
Passed today...feels good to get the exam out of the way. I have no network experience (besides simple small networks) so all in all it went pretty well.
Like many others I am not sure what way to go now. PC's and technology have been my hobby for a long time but last year an on the job injury forced me to look for a new line of work. In hindsight it was the best thing to happen to me since all is working out nicely.
I was thinking about security+ but am really not sure. Big thanks to the site for tech notes and words of support in the forums.

MCSA is good one for after Net+ and for before Security+. -

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModCongratulations on the pass. And I'd probably recommend you get into CCNA first, before starting the road to MCSA/MCSE and Security+. The things you learn on the Cisco end will be much more beneficial to you when you're doing the Microsoft exams, as opposed to the other way around. Good luck on whatever you decide.

mookytc Member Posts: 43 ■■■□□□□□□□sound advice...certainly helps me decide. I hear the ccna is extremely difficult. I did start looking at some material for it last night. Might give it a go.
Thanks again,
