File menu not responding - Word 2003 - Fixed
Odd one this morning that I havent seen before.
When clicking File / Edit / View etc it highlights the menu title (the word file) but does not display the actual menu.
Checked it isnt just a mouse fault. Works fine elsewhere.
Alt + F etc has the same effect.
Outlook / Excel etc all ok
Checked various documents including blank ones.
Just Word 2003 thats playing up for this user.
Anyone seen this before?

Never seen that before. First couple of things I would try are replacing normal.dot from a good source or running the Office Repair from Add/Remove Programs.All things are possible, only believe. -

Replaced normal.dot and fault still occured, user had to dash out so didnt get to run repair but that will be my next stop. Will let you know...
