Java update affecting netscape

Some pages won't load and a series of crashes after downloading a Java update. I use netscape 7.2. Uninstalled the update and alls well. Anyone else had the same ?

This happens with the latest update for Sun's JRE? Make sure that you do have the latest Java JRE update, verison 5.0 Update 11. Also, does Netscape 8.1.2 have the same problem with the update?

It was the latest Jave update but I don't know about netscape 8x it's got no intergrated pop3 support so I don't use it.

I don't see any specific reports on a problem with Netscape 7.x and Update 11. Try reinstalling the update and clearing your Java cache before running Netscape. It might just be bad or conflicting cached data.

No its still the same so I'll live without the update.

You cleared the Web browser's cache too? I should have also mentioned that.
