Hi all, I have been going through the posts, I am starting CCNA study, and starting to get slightly confused...here is my question- will the following books be updated enough to take the 640-801- April 3, 07?

Sybex (T. Lammie) Fifth edition
Ciscopress library (Odem) - 7th printing Sept. 2004
CCNA study guide (Richard Deal) -2003 (I mainly wanted the test engine)
Cisco a beginners guide- Fourth edition
Exam Cram CCNA practice questions- 2nd edition

I also went to ciscopress for the download to update the chapters.

Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advanced.
Someone asked me when will my studying be over......

Don't know about the last 2, but you're fine with the first 3.

I passed ccna in january, used only the sybex 5th edition.
Was only a little shot on NAT, but otherwise it had al you need to pass.

You can also check out the free pdf version of the workbooks in this thread.

And if you get a chance, report back if they are worth a link in the CCNA Forum FAQ :D

    My it looks intresting...342 pages..Volume #1 ( I think vol 2 is 300+ pages)
here are a few of the chapters:Part 1a: Cisco Foundations, Part 1b: Workstation Foundations: Windows 95/98, Part 1b: Workstation Foundations: Windows 2000/XP/ME, Part 1b: Workstation Foundations: Knoppix STD (not sure why this one would be needed), Part 1c: Networking Foundations, Part 2 Switching.
Off to skim it over -- icon_cool.gif
