Hey, does anyone know where to get a good/free port scanner?
Working towards MCSE w/Security, then CCNA, then CCSP, and, eventually CISSP

seuss_ssues Member Posts: 629Well ive got to say Nmap is the grand daddy of port scanners. It can do basically everything. However it is not as user friendly as many of the gui scanners available.
Super scan4 - i havent used it much but others seem to like it

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminIf you don't like SuperScan 4 then try SuperScan 3. It has a better user interface. Also, I still vote netcat as the best--but not the easiest to use--TCP/IP network port tester. It's currently #4 on the Top 100 Network Security Tools at insecure.org.
