I was wondering if there was something I was missing with registering the Soft phones with CM.
I using my laptop with CM4.0 and for some reason The Softphones doesnt register.
I see the lease address, assigned by the DHCP and option 150 is there.
My Host system is XP and my Vmware is windows 2000 server.
Now this is the strange part....I can ping from XP to CM but not from CM to XP....BOTH SYSTEM ARE RUNNING ON THE SAME LAPTOP. Also routing is enable on Windows system and the vmware adapteris in the right subnet.
I am thinking that I need the admin tool for IP communicator. but if any one has any suggestion please let me knoiw.

DaPunnisher Member Posts: 108Have you tried adding the IP Communicator manually in Callmanager or do you have it set to auto-register? Try using a different MAC address other that your laptop network adapter and be sure to change it in the IP Communicator settings device name. Since your IP Communicator is pulling an IP address, can you ping it from Callmanager?Geek Chic! http://www.wegeek.com
