I would say A+ & Network+ is a good bet as it's an elective for MCSA

I suggest 70-290 as there are some overlap in testing questions with 70-270.

A+/Network+ or MCDST or both, then 290

I would do A+ and Network+ to get some fundamental knowledge regarding hardware and networking then do your 70-290.

I have been working in IT for the past 6 years an decided to do the 70-290, hopefully this is a good move.
