Certification Preparation
Microsoft
Windows XP Professional
Enough?
MAC_Addy
The books that I currently own are:
Sybex
Microsoft Press
Exam Cram
and the Mike Meyers XP book.
I was going to build a machine to run Virtual PC to do the installs and stuff. But, I have worked with XP and done pretty much all the installs apart from the network install.
Do you think that I'll need to do a little bit more, or is the exam concentrating more on permissions, etc etc.
I just need a little help.
Thanks,
Jamie

It sounds like you are good to go. The exam will ask you questions on permissions.

What type of questions will be asked about installs?
If anyone can remember.

I also have my hands on the TestOut 70-270 software, including labs.
I think that'll help a little as well.

This is what is covered on the exam.

There will probably be questions on installing and upgrading Windows XP Pro. Also, know how to use RIS to image XP and I think you will need to know how to use sysprep.
MAC_Addy
I has used RIS and a little bit of sysprep.
Maybe a little bit of hands on experience would help.
Everything else I am okay with.
I work as a tech for a school system supporting over 6000+ users and 2000+ machines. one me and 2 other guys working on the whole thing.
