Network monitor.... included with Windows Server 03 support tools.

Although it is only the basic version which allows you to only monitor network traffic originating from or destined for the local machine running network monitor.

Systems Management server comes with the full version of Network Monitor which allows you to monitor remote network traffic. Depends on network hardware as well though.... eg hubs or switches in use.....

We use FLUKE Network, Solarwinds and the good old MRTG.

We have four large data centers across the US and we have 4 nagios machines in each data center and we pull it all together in to one display. It works great. We can monitor services, network connection, and server performance.

SolarWinds and MOM make a nice combination of network and server monitoring.
