640-861 or 640-863?

Hi all,

I am planning to take CCDA exam soon. On Cisco website it is mentioned that current version of CCDA exam (640-861) is expiring in a few months, and it is replaced by newer version 640-863.

My question is, if i take the current CCDA exam right now, i.e 640-861, will it be valid for next three years or do i have to re-certify after a few months when this current version will be expired.

It will be valid for 3 years in both cases.
