Need advice on selecting home lab equipment

Hello,

I am taking cisco academy training classes, and would like to setup my own home lab, could someone tell me what equipment to purchase on ebay and about how much I should be paying for the items.

2500 series routers and a couple of 2950 switches will get the job done
