New certificate
I just got my new cert. I'm still undecided whether I like the old CCNA certificate or the new one.
I also got my new ID card. I guess I have 2 questions concerning the wallet card.
Why?
What is the mag strip for?

is there any certification diploma for the BSCI, BCMSN, ISCW and ONT? Been like four months since I did BSCI and can't find any info about it on Certmanager.net. -

I finally put one in my wallet incase I need to access my "verification ID" or send the verification email when I'm not at home (I don't have my Cisco ID memorized).
I'd guess either the company that prints the cards could charge more for the "blanks"... or there is no additional cost for cards with the mag stripe, so their save on storage costs by only stocking the blanks with the mag stripe.
Or those could be "tracking strips" -- and they alert Cisco if you go near a Juniper Router or Nortel switch... Maybe I should wrap my wallet card in aluminum foil.
For the CCNP and CCIP you don't get anything for individual exams -- you only get the Certificate when you complete all the certification requirements.
For the CCSP, if you plan it right, after the first exam you can get some "wall candy" for each exam, and then some (with those INFOSEC letters). You can also score some "Cisco Specialist Certificates" while working on the CCVP, but not as many as you used to.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -
optimus Member Posts: 183At least you got one bud. Mine got lost in the mail. Be happy you got anything.

optimus Member Posts: 183Yes, I do. I am still trying to digest the fact though that it will be USD$50 in shipping for DHL tracking which I find utterly ridiculous to ship a piece of paper to Singapore.
