Cisco Catalyst 2950

Could somebody please tell me how I can configure our newly bought 2950 with an IP address so that I can remotely connnect to it via telnet. If you know an internet link, that would be great.

I am a newbie to the CCNA field and I have just finished the CNAP CCNA Semester 1 at our local acedemy, so configuring a switch or router is all new to me.

go into config mode
then interface vlan 1
then give it an ip

and give it a telnet password and login command
