in CCNA & CCENT
I have to get hands-on experience as I'm going for job interview with govt. in about 3 weeks. I searched through ebay, but can't trust them. I need to buy at least 1 or 2 routers. I know you can buy them used and cheap...
if you know a good place, please let me know ASAP, I don't want to fail the interview
I forgot to mention I've prepared for CCNA, so I know the material well to be able to practice.

I've collected a bunch of the Dynamips/Dynagen links in a post in this this thread

boyles23 Member Posts: 130I bought my two routers and switch from ciscokits.com and bob at cisco kits was really helpful with my purchase and follow up. He sells a lot on ebay also, just stick with people that have higher ratings and check out past customer reviews.

Darthn3ss Member Posts: 1,096eh, you don't have to look for people with high ratings, they usually charge more. you can usually tell by the auction whats a good deal and whats not. i got most of my stuff from no name sellers. Ciscokits will no doubt charge more than a CCNP or IE selling off old equipment.Fantastic. The project manager is inspired.

binarysoul Member Posts: 993Thanks folks for the responses.... I will probably look at ciscokit.com (Bob). But as few mentioned, if I find cheaper ones, I will take reasonable risk and buy one.

Darthn3ss Member Posts: 1,096also, it seems that you may need more than 2 routers to do some of the routing labs.. ie, in my CCNA 2 class, we're starting to get labs that require 3 routers. Fortunately, i have combined access to like 12+ racks at school and then my 6 routers and switch at home. phew.Fantastic. The project manager is inspired.
