I did read the faq but have a question
is the 2501 the still the best router to use for ccna? or 2600 or a better one? Also do I need a switch to pass the ccna?
Thanks

If you go with 2500's, i'd probably grab 2514's, 2 ethernet interfaces and 2 serial interfaces, but thats just me. I have all 2500 routers (6 of em so far), 3 2924 switches, 1 1912... But i tend to over do things. You'll be fine with 2 or 3 routers, and a couple switches. (Yeah, CCNA is routing and switching, so you do need a few switches. from what i've heard, the 2924 switches are fine for whats covered on the CCNA exam(s)Fantastic. The project manager is inspired.
