Windows NT Safe Mode
Does windows NT have a safe mode and if so how do you get to it?

mrhaun03 Member Posts: 359Safe Mode was introduced in Windows 95. It's not on NT 3.x or 4.0 however. On versions of Windows it is on press F8 on boot.Working on Linux+

sprkymrk Member Posts: 4,884 ■■■□□□□□□□I believe NT4 had a safe mode of sorts, but it was called something like "VGA Mode" or something. It simply loaded NT with a basic video driver, since at the time the video drivers were often the cause of blue screens on NT boxes. Anyone else remember that, or am I having a false memory?All things are possible, only believe.

Must be a false memory...I've never seen a BSOD in my lifeWorking on Linux+
