No, I am being serious.

I know that this is about how much one costs, let alone 5, so I thought there might be something fishy that you pros could pick up on by looking at the sh ver.

Otherwise, why is it going for so low? The auction ended up ending with no bids just to be automatically restarted.

Well, I asked the person selling the auction just to make sure. It's the price per switch. But, the auction itself states "Quantity: 5". I wonder if I can bid on this and be able to legally force the seller to give me the 5 switches because the quantity states 5 on the auction.

I believe when it states quantity that is to show he has that many available, not that he is selling all 5 for that price. Basically it's like saying he has 5 and he is selling each for 1k.

The quantity states 2 in that one but you are buying only 1, unless while you place your bid you specify 2 in the quantity section.

Usually when it says "quantity: 5" it means he has 5 and is selling them seperately, dutch auction style. If someone is selling five things, they usually word it like "lot of 5 switches" or "bundle of 5 switches for sale."

I may have five motorcycle chains for sale, but that doesn't mean they come bundled unless otherwise specified, ya know?

Anyway, 5 for a grand is a killer deal. 1 for a grand is highway robbery.
