I took the Security+ exam this morning and after some problems getting the computer setup, I passed with an 830. I will have say I was a little worried. My strong recommendations is studying from multiple sources. Some of my recommendations include: Testout, Sybex, and Syngress.
A lot of questions with access control, ports, and cryptography.

Congrats! I just got mine last Tuesday, and I agree with you regarding the multiple sources of information. Using a single resource for this exam would have been woefully inadequate; this exam focuses on breadth.
