Hi everyone I'm new to the forum..
I'm a student at southern alberta institute of technology in calgary, alberta, canada. Great institution.
Part of my course is active directory administration, and i'm progressing quite nicely. Domain delegation, zone replication, trees, forests, all that fun stuff. What key points does the exam focus on so I can target my studies? I have access to a very nice lab with 25 P4/1GB Ram computers and a number of hefty cisco switches, so anything goes. I have the ability to screw with anything, but I'd like to know what to focus? </ramble>

This is Geeksuper, I am preping for the exam also. A few weeks ago I attended a course of 70-217 and they recommended the Microsoft
web site as far as the guidelines are concerned.
This is a very important point to note, so that you do not waste your time on points that may not be covered in the exam but that you would be able to sharpen these skills later in your work environment. Also let us not forget, this site is great!

Pavlov Member Posts: 264The books for this exam focus heavily on DNS and GPO's because the exam itself focuses very heavily on those areas. Best resource for this exam is the MS Press Training Kit and the MS website.
Read these chapters before you take this exam or 219:
Managing Flexible Single-Master Operations
Designing the Active Directory Structure
Step-by-Step Guide to Understanding Group Policy Feature Set
Windows Installer File Extensions
Happy readingPavlov
