MCSA: Security

I am currently working on my MCSA with plans on getting the MCSA: Security. Do the plans for the security and messaging MCSA show up under certification planner after achieving the base MCSA? Also, would MCSE 2003 Security be worth pursuing after August with the new certifications coming out for Longhorn? Any info would be helpful.

You won't see MCSE (or MCSE: Security) going anywhere for at least another 5 or more years; MCSE 2000 is another story. Stick with your plan and finish the 2003 track.

I agree. Someone posted a Q&A with from MS regarding the new certs a few weeks ago, and they said that 2003 likely be the dominate platform for 3-5 years. They are going to give a preview of the Longhorn certs in May to Technet subscribers with full information in June. You could probably have another cert or two under your belt by the time they even announce the new ones
Here's a list of what you'll need to take for MCSE +Security:

It should be self explanatory. I don't use the planner, so I can't completely answer your question.
