just wondering, how do i go about upgrading the memory on my 2620? is it just a few screws and sliding the cover off and then basically like a normal PC once you get the top part of the case off?

Believe it or not, it really is similar to replacing RAM on a PC.
Lab first, ask questions later -
Darthn3ss Member Posts: 1,096well apparently i'm incapable of doing this because now when i start the router up with either the new or old, i'm getting "Error: no system memory found" i wouldn't care if this was one of my 2500's but this is a 2620 that i got a killer deal on.

I'm pretty sure you need a service contract with Cisco to RMA it, and to be honest, it would be cheaper to just buy a new one than do that.CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

Did you upgrade the Flash memory too? -
Darthn3ss Member Posts: 1,096yes. upgraded from 32/8 to 64/16. and it looks like erasing and reloading startup-config fixed the tftp issue so now i appear to be good.Fantastic. The project manager is inspired.
