Configuration register boot field's

in CCNA & CCENT
Dear Friends
How are you ??? I wish u r all in very good health.... i have a question about ROMMon Mode. If i set the configuration register to 0x0000 , the router will load in ROM MON Mode, will the router ignore the startup-config file at the startup or not ???
Thanks in advance

0x0000 will leave you stuck on the bootstrap prompt...

Hi Friends
I made a mistake in the question . I mean a configuration register value of 0x2100 not 0x0000
Thanks in advance -

Use of the Configuration Register on All Cisco Routers
The 6th bit sets whether to ignore the NVRAM. The above doc has lots of config register values and what they do..... then it breaks it down by the bits -- if you want to figure out what "non-standard values" might do.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
