IOS Question

Are the IOS versions specific to a model or a series. I.e. can I take the 12.2 on a 2521 I have and put it onto a 2514 I have, or are they specific?

I guess that I'll just try it and see what happens, then.

On an unrelated note, the school where I work just got in 12 3560 PoE switches. I get to play with them for a while before setting their final configuration and deploying them

I believe you can not use a 2500 series ios on a 2600 or 1700 series router.

Thanks, doing it now. Ran into some problems with the flash being read only, but getting into boot mode allowed me to fix that. I'll let you know how it goes.

The good news is that the upgrade went fine. The bad news is that it was 12.1 on my 2521 not 12.2 so I still don't have dhcp client capabilities
