Right, got my core+ tommorow, now reading through

and looking at the cat values for the ethernet cables for twisted pair, yours states different to Mike Meyers book:

cat1 standard phone line
cat2 up to 4Mbps
cat3 up to 16Mbps
cat4 up to 20Mbps
cat5 up to 100Mbps

Who is correct???? HELP

Its:

Cat2 4Mbps
Cat 3 10-Mbps
Cat 4 16 Mbps
Cat 5 100 Mbps

dont get confused with token ring because token ring does cat 3 on 4 Mb and cat 5 on 16 Mb
