Just wondering if virtual pc 07 will be enough to study for 70-620?

I really can't afford vista just to study for this exam, and i don't particularly want to pirate it, or buy a new PC.... so yeah, will i get by or should i look into getting vista (/a new computer :P)?

you will still need to buy vista for you to be able to use it on the virtual pc, have you looked if there is a study guide like an MS one that comes free with a trial version of vista?

See if you can download a trial version of Vista. I did a search for it and could not find it but maybe I am not looking in the right place. Of course you may need to have a Technet subscription in order to download the trial.

I had looked for a trial of vista but did not see one.

From looking at Amazon, it looks like the MS Press book comes with a trial and the Sybex book has some type of simulator.

yeah, the sybex comes with a simulator, i almos tbought it but i decided i'd rather not for now.

the MS press vista self-paced traning kit comes out in a few days (i'm pretty sure it comes with an eval. copy of vista) so i'm going to pre order it if i can.

I just found out that my school has a MSDN AA, which means i have free access to software.

unfortunently, because they don't offer vista classes, i have no access to vista, but server 2003 and xp pro sp2 are available, as well as exchange, i belive.

this will help out tons on the 70-270 and server 2003 exams.

edit: wow, i just scored this:

thats a awesome price, glad i didn't buy it at barnes and nobles for $60+tax+shipping
