Hi,

I don't understand this SUS stuff its very confusing.

I know that its only on windows 2000/2003 servers acts similar to windows update.

Will I have to know about SUS for the exam?

The objectives for the 70-270 exam are here:

Make sure you are familiar with these topics because any of them (or all of them) could appear on the test. However, SUS is covered on the server exams, and not the client as far as I know. It does not appear on the list of objectives anyway.

You will realy need to understand WSUS (Formely SUS) it for 290 and more on 291 so I would get to learning it. Set up a virtual server and download WSUS. This will give you some practice with IIS too you need that for 270 also.

There is very little about it on 270 but just enough that you need to know the basics. As for IIS you need a good understanding of it for 270 and that is a little suprising. At least understand how different IIS is on XP than on a server for sure.

I threw in the IIS becase it's a big part of WSUS.
