in CCNA & CCENT
I feel a need to say hello to all the good folks in here. I have been roaming around this forum for a while now and I think it is time to introduce myself as I feel that I know many of you. I promise not to ask questions without using search function. I have been “outside” the field for two years doing everything but technology and now its time to jump back in. I worked in cable headend and touched on many different technologies. Even though I held a network engineer position I now know that it had little to do with core IT so its time to get on with CCNA to fill in all the blanks.
Todd Lammle's book is on the way as well as 2924-xl and a 2511 soon after to start my home lab (thanks to you guys), CBT Nuggets in constant replay mode.
Thank you all for all the info, I wish some day I will be able to contribute to this vast pool of knowledge.

Paul Boz Member Posts: 2,620 ■■■■■■■■□□Whats up head end buddy I'm actually moving into the head end soon, but to administer the IP return path network for billing and IPG stuff. I'm still going to have to maintain the signal processing network though, so not only will I be working on the CCNP, I'll have to also learn the ins and outs of signal manipulation and head end architectures. Oh, and still go to college The day needs to have about 4 more hours in it!
Where do you work? What kind of equipment are you guys using? We're almost purely Scientific Atl with some Motorola thrown in.CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA
CCNA Security | GSEC |GCFW | GCIH | GCIA
