No serial port

I'm at home on vacation for about 2 weeks and I brought my routers with me, but I unfortunately only brought home a couple of laptops -- without serial ports! All of my desktop machines have serial ports, but they're about 8 hours away by car.
So. . . anyone have any good ideas? Does anyone have experience with those serial -> USB dongles? Maybe I'll just have to wait until I go back.

I just got a couple more USB-Serial adapters from Best Buy recently -- other than being extremely overpriced, they work fine.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

Of course, once things get more complicated I will stop doing that.More systems have been wiped out by admins than any cracker could do in a lifetime.
