hi all,
i know this isnt a specififc ccna q but i was wondering if anyone knows of any software that simulates routers / switches which will work with VPC / vmware? because after doing my MS stuff i would like to learn more networking stuff and i would love it if i could get a real sim going with a working windows domain.
ive also posted here: http://www.techexams.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23267 but to no avail. any help will be much appreciated!

You can check out the Dynamips/Dynagen links in this thread.
The layer 2 switching stuff isn't perfect (since it simulates the hardware) but its a good cheap start -- and it covers the basics to get you started (and can be linked with real switches later if need be).
Its easier to start with Dynagen -- which includes Dynamips.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
