Just wanted to say hi! I stumbled onto this site some how and its been a great resource so far.
A few weeks ago i made the decision to go for my CCNA and maybe my CCNP and i started out with the set of cisco press books by Wendell Odom. I have to say these two books are some of the best written tech books ive read.
I managed to cobble together a kit based on all the "what should i get" threads. So far i have:
3x 2610's
1x 2924XL ( dont think its an EN
is that bad?) Planing on maybe getting another? or a 2950.
1x 2509
Should be getting all next week
Only problem i have is im running low on funds and i still need to get some serial cables and 2 more wic-1T cards and some rack ears (not sure which ones need them, havent gotten the stuff yet).
Sorry for rambling, Im a touch excited about the lab, i just wanted to say hi and kinda introduce my self. Im definetly going to be sticking around for a while to absord as much as i can.

Welcome. Don't forget that when you have that "I have no idea what's goin' on" feeling, you can just ask for some help here. Folks usually aren't too hard on ya if it happens to be in the FAQ

I'd pick up another router, but thats just me.. no fun watching OSPF DR/BDR elections with 2 routers.Fantastic. The project manager is inspired.

I'm sure i'll have lots of questions in the future, But i usually try to answer them with some research first, tends to stick in my head if i have to work to figure it out.
