Accessing Olive from vmware in same pc...???

Hi all,
I've installed Olive in VMware....so I can access it through console port from another PC......but I want to access Olive from HyperTerminal in the same PC...

I heard that there is a way to do this...but not getting anything handy...

Can anyone help me....

how interesting

if you did manage to install olive in vmware - why dont you share with us here, step by step - i guess many of us will be interested

what hyperterminal transport you want to connect to the vmware? telnet or serial (console)? if the serial - it will not do - because you must either use the serial port for the host OS or the guest, unless you have of 2 serial ports in your mainboard.

Ok..i'll share that with u all...in fact i'll be happy to share...

But pls I want to access tht frm same PC...no matter whthr it's telnet or serial (console)...I just want to use Olive from single pc whr Olive is in VMware...

i created virtual comport using gui. leave ip address and port blank.

telnet to 127.0.0.1

(default port, 23)
