Some of the links in there might help. Good prices.

What do you mean? The first post in the thread, the first link in it. $50 26xx series routers.

o yea bro, i dont like bidding for items, but i found the kit a lil cheaper 368 with shipping and everything 2 2924 and 2 2503 with bri interface, im taking the icnd may 31st, i know the 2503 are enough, but wut do u think bout the 2924, i just hope i can do all the lab for the ccna, i have some xperience but i never worked with a 2924 only 2950, but those are too expensive and i dont have time to wait for a deal u know...just let me know wut u think about the 2924

    thanks

Too expensive. You can get a lot more gear at that price. Don't jump on the first kit you see.

You can practice a lot of switching with 2 2924. Although you'd want a 3rd one to practice STP etc...

You can do with a 2924 pretty much everything you can do with a 2950.

AFAIK, 2950 only has 802.1q for trunking whereas 2924 supports both 802.1q and ISL.

Also, 2950 has some QoS features and maybe some different switchport options but nothing worth spending 4 to 6 times the price of a 2924 on.

    Just my 2 cents.
