2500 series flash\memory

I am planning to upgrade my 2501 routers with full memory and flash. Is this a fair buy or should i be looking somewhere else?

What I did was buy a couple extra 2500 routers at a few bucks each, a couple of which came with say only one stick of 8MB flash, and a few others with no flash but 16MB of ram, then combine all the flash/ram to make 16/16 routers, grab the new boot roms too, put the old boot-roms and what was left of the 4MB flash and 6MB or 8MB ram in the routers I don't need, then sell them at, again, a few bucks each. So all in all it only cost me shipping of the extra routers to upgrade my current labs routers
