ITdude Member Posts: 1,181 ■■■□□□□□□□That is really unbelievable!!! Should we start a donation drive to buy them a generator?
I hope that at least they are very accomodating to you and give you the chance you deserve ASAP.I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

Paul Boz Member Posts: 2,620 ■■■■■■■■□□I don't know what to say about that, honestly. I really hope they comp you for travel and lodging expenses, because for many people that's easily half the cost of the whole lab experience.
Perhaps the real cisco lab experience was worth it, however. If you pass it on the retake you'll be able to say you passed it on your first attemptCCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

dtlokee Member Posts: 2,378 ■■■■□□□□□□Yeah, no dice, scored a 75 this time around. Lunch was chicken. One of the canidates who was there during the power outage was back there on Monday. The lab was far different than the last time I took it in Feb, not really in the topics, they don't change, but the approach was much different than the last one.
Time to go check if there's any openings before December. The only easy day was yesterday! -
ITdude Member Posts: 1,181 ■■■□□□□□□□Sorry to hear that. I hope that you are able to get into the next time slot, soon.
Man. does ANYONE pass that lab on the first shot short of being Einstein, or what? I guess that I have lots of preparation in my not so distant future!!!!I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

PCHoldmann Member Posts: 450Sorry to hear that, dtlokee. I am wondering about that guy getting back in so soon, they told me July 11th, August 29, and a bunch later in the year. I couldn't take the 11th, so I will be back in late August. I could try to snag an eariler date if one comes available, but I think that having a fixed date will be better in the long run. As to travel, Cisco says they won't cover that.

PCHoldmann Member Posts: 450Well, I managed to get a seat the 6th of August at RTP. There must have been a number of cancelations, as there were 2 seats available (there are R&S seats on the 2nd and 10th, if anyone's looking.) Hopefully it won't take the lab several attempts to pass me

PCHoldmann,
May the [voltage] be with you. -
PCHoldmann Member Posts: 450Well, one week from tomorrow, and this month has NOT been conducive for study. Networkers helped, but not much time for real IE study. So, a crazy week of study while trying not to get too sleep deprived
Hopefully the power stays on this time.

PCHoldmann Member Posts: 450Well, I'm back, and the power stayed on.
I know I didn't leave more than 20 points on the table so a pass is possible, but I don't even want to guess at the moment.
So now the waiting begins...

Silver Bullet Member Posts: 676 ■■■□□□□□□□Man, you should be very proud of how far you have come in the time frame you have. If I remember right, you were working toward MCSE back when you joined the forums in '04. Can't remember for sure, but I don't think you had any Cisco certs at the time. Look at you now, MCSE > CCNA > CCNP > CCIE Written > 1st Lab attempt, all in just over 3 years.
Now that takes true dedication and discipline.
Good Luck on the Next Lab.
