Where to start?

I got a Cisco 2600 series router and the Sybex CCNA 5th edition by Todd Lammle. Is there anything else I should get before i start learning CCNA?

    If you're still fairly new to networking, i'd set the router aside for a while and read that book until around chapter 4 - i think in chapter 4 you start learning about the IOS.

    Well mid book it would be good to have another router and a DCE/DTE serial cable so you can link them, mess with routing protocols and CDP etc.
