Is subnetting/CIDR a big topic on the exam. As far as being asked to subnet a network? (Not Default subnets)

When I took the exam in 2002 subnetting was not a big deal on the exam other than the default subnets.
    Working on: MCSA 2012 R2

I had a question that dealt with subnetting on the 2005 objective exam.
