Shift click not working

Does anyone else have this problem.
When I hold shift and click a link to a forum topic it opends it in a new window but also takes the original window to the link page defeating the purpose of shift click. It doesnt happen at other forums and stuff but Im trying to figure out if its my end or the way the forum scripts have been written.

Shift-click to open a new window works for me. The original window stays the same. Have you tried right-clicking, and selecting open link in new window?

Yea right mouse open new window worsk but u know whats its like u get into a habbit and u do it every where.'
Oh well i dunno why it doesnt work 4me
