How much of a difference is there between that and the 2950? I just got a 2924 for $28, including shipping and am trying to figure out if it was worth it.

Rearden Member Posts: 222Thanks for that info. It looks like I'll need a module for trunking. No big deal. Does anyone know if a 1601 can do router on a stick?
//didn't realize that it was ethernet and not fastEthernet so I guess not.More systems have been wiped out by admins than any cracker could do in a lifetime. -
dtlokee Member Posts: 2,378 ■■■■□□□□□□1601 can't do router on a stick configurations. You can do it with a 2600, even on a 10mb/s interface depending on the IOS version but a router with a FE interface will be necessary for any ISL connections. The only easy day was yesterday!

kafifi13 Member Posts: 259So you can do Router on a stick with 2610 on just a 10m Ethernet. I thought you needed a Fastethernet. I'm trying to do this now adn realized i don't have any Fastethernets on my routers that i have.

What IOS version supports a 2600 trunk port(vlan encap) on a 10Mb Ethernet Int?There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1!
